Lovely Sandhill Crane shots! I've heard them fly over but never seen them.
Here are a Black Oystercatcher and a Long-tailed Duck (both very obvious names) from trip to Deep Bay last week. I sent in the photo of the Oystercatcher and found that the leg bands show it is a 7 year old bird, banded just across the Straight.

Another sunny afternoon on London's Landing pier, and a gull to add to the list: A Short Billed Gull (formerly known as the Mew Gull) cruised past the pier on an otherwise quiet afternoon.
