This is my blog which I post up to my FB fanpage at https://www.facebook.com/hchikamori# (my wildlife photography fanpage) - which has a total readership of over 300 people. Some of whom are interested in wildlife and birding. I've gone to Serpentine Fen twice in the past two weeks and each time I've seen birds I haven't seen the last time. The most recent time, was the lesser yellowlegs.

I also will post "walkthroughs" on the different locations here because I'm sure that beginning birders would benefit from a preliminary view of the locations offered. This is not a carte-blanche to go "shot"-happy and go traipsing through the wildlife areas paying no heed to warnings as this is something that will cause veteran birders as well as this particular bird photographer (myself) to turn absolutely livid. Understandably we have all made our share of mistakes in wildlife areas but above all, the safety and well-being of the birds that we all enjoy watching is paramount and should be at the forefront of one's mind every single time we step out to go birding.
