The hawk has been back a few times today. Initially it just looked soggy. After perching for hours on end in the pouring rain it looked unhappy. I started to feel quite sorry for it.
The photographic challenge of the day was to get focus on the eye and use a slow shutter speed to get the rain effect. The rain kept moving focus around but as the bird was v still I went for manual focus in the end and used DxO for post processing.
