Its always a good day when you get to check a local nemesis bird especially one as striking as the male Red-breasted Merganser. Normally 200ft is a close shot of these guys but laying on a rocky beach in full camo in horribly uncomfortable positions paid off with this stunning bird feeding in close proximity for nearly an hour.
