I haven't been able to get out for quite a while so I thought it would be a great way to start the New Year. I headed out to the Nanaimo River to see if I could find the Shorties but no such luck. They seem to have disappeared. There was quite a few Eagles around and on the way out I went by the Nanaimo Dump and there was about 20 Juveniles and 4 Adult Eagles in the trees.
