Seen in Barkley Sound June 12. Some kind of wren? But I have never seen one this colour.

Hi Dennis,

This bird looks like a Fox Sparrow. They don't breed in Victoria but are known to breed from Jordan River and North.

Yes of course, with the same breast pattern as seen on the light brown ones we see in Victoria. It was the colour that was confusing. Thx!
