I wonder if someone can identify this bird for me. I took this picture about 20 miles west of McBride, BC not far from the Fraser river in Late June 2012.

It has a sparrow look to it but I cannot match it with any in my bird books.

That is a juvenile Dark-eyed Junco. I know this because some fledged in my yard and looked just like that. If you google images for d-e junco juvenile, you will see a few pics of same plumage.
